U.S. Marine Steve Aeschuman wins The Haitian Open DuSable Golf Classic 2010 in Chicago
Chevy Chase Country Club is a beautiful setting for the Haitian Open Golf Classic 2010. This memorable championship will be remembered as a great success and fun for the golfers who came out to swing for Haiti..
Golfers from the Chicago area came out to swing for Haiti and among them was U.S. Marine Steve Aeschuman who served in Iraq. His name is forever in the record books as the winner of the Haitian Open Golf Classic 2010.
The morning weather started out cloudy with a slight overcast, but by mid-day, the sun came out and the temperature soared to the 90s. It turned out to be a perfect day for golf. In the air, golfers can feel the spirit of competition, as Bob Falkiner welcomed golfers all morning long at the club house. Amber B. Campbell, the Haitian Open event coordinator helped golfers with registration and nametags.
Shotgun start was 8am and by the end of the tournament we had winner.
It was a great day for Haitian Resorts and Haiti Tourism says PGA Professional Bob Falkiner, Director of Golf Operations at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, Illinois.
The CEO of Serenity Aqua Resort, Dr. L. Confident was very happy for The Haitian Open Golf Classic due to the success of the event.
Serenity Aqua Resort, is a new 5-Star Ocean Front Golf Resort Project for the Haitian Riviera in Haiti. Serenity is located on a 320 acre property in the southern part of Haiti.
Turf Solutions of Peoria, Illinois is a company that builds golf courses all over the world. It will be the company to build the new PGA course in Haiti. Tiger Woods Golf Course Design has also been contacted. This new golf course could be a Tiger Woods designed golf course.
Many Golfers at the Haitian Open had a great time and are looking forward and can’t wait to take vacations to go play golf on the Haitian Riviera in Haiti as part of rebuilding and help boost Haiti’s tourism.
Now, Steve Aeschuman will have to defend his title next year at The Haitian Open Golf Classic in 2011. This event could take place in Dallas, TX.
